We are working on some on ideas for ways we can stay engaged with each other. Below are some ideas we have come up with but would love your feedback. If you can take a moment to fill out our survey, it would help us gauge interest in events members would like.
Experience B/CS has put together a great resource with many ways to support our local community and keep yourself and your family entertained. It includes information about restaurant ordering options and ways to support local businesses while practicing social distancing.
support the escalating need, community nonprofits are partnering with local governments and businesses to launch a relief fund for Brazos Valley residents and businesses that face economic uncertainty as the region continues to follow CDC, state and city guidelines designed to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The nation’s blood supply requires a steady supply of donors who generously donate millions of units of potentially life-saving blood and blood components each year. Every two seconds, a patient needs a blood transfusion. At this time the number of blood donations has been dramatically reduced due to the implementation of social distancing and the cancellation of blood drives. Dontating blood is just another way you can help out.

FDA -Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: Blood Donations
Due to the current COVID-19 Crisis, many TAMU students are in need of access to a sustainable food source until the end of the Spring Semester, April 28th. These students may have been affected by employer closures, or just not have the ability to cook food in their current housing situation. Dorm Dish and Friday Harbour are working to help and you can donate to assist them in their efforts.
People are not the only one's that need help locally. The Aggieland Humane Society is seeking donations as they are entering the time period of the year where there will see hundreds of kittens born and brought in and your donations can greatly assist them. They are also still doing adoptions and fostering via an online application and appointment setting.
